How Elected Officials keep Citizens Informed
In the Provincial government MLAs represent citizens in their constituency, they need to be activel involved in their constituencies. Elected officials send home monthly newsletters to keep people in their constituency informed about what they are planning to do and the changes they have made.They can have campaign offices in their constituency so people can meet them and tell them about there concerns. MLAs also attend public functions.Representing the majority of the citizens opinion is very necessary for MLAs. Participating in the government by working with other MLAs to pass and introduce new bills for the citizens.It is important for them to vote on the right decision regarding the province.They spend some time on committees and work with groups of interested people.
